Nail bracing — correcting ingrown or involuted nails with wire and braces — is among the most demanding podiatry techniques. The instruments work as a system: cutting pliers to size the NiTi wire, bending pliers for a controlled curve, and an applicator to seat the brace.
When buying orthonyxie pliers, look for surgical steel, a play-free joint and autoclavability at 134 °C. Our ND range is tuned to NiTi wire 0.14–0.20 mm and forms a complete set, from cutting pliers to needle holder.
